The NSW SES Waverley-Woollahra unit are inviting local residents to the new headquarters to join in the official opening, peruse the state of the art facilities and chat to volunteers about the important service the SES provides for the local community. Equipment demonstrations and displays will be on show as well as a BBQ and information on how the community can best prepare and minimise damage before and during storms and floods.

The new facility has been jointly funded by both Waverley and Woollahra Councils and includes an operations centre for use during storm and floods, training facilities, equipment and vehicle stores and offices. The new building is located under Syd Einfeld Drive on a space that is being leased from Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).
